Dr. Timothy Jerad Rearick specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of disorders and sports injuries to the foot and ankle. His clinical interests include the following: trauma, foot and ankle arthritis, osteochondral lesions of the talus, bunion deformity, foot and ankle injuries and peroneal tendon disorders.
He graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of California, Los Angeles. While in attendance, Dr. Timothy Rearick participated in the Sports Medicine Internship program. Here, he served as a crucial part of the athletic training staff for the men’s basketball team. While serving on the athletic training staff, he gained hands on experience and became exceedingly passionate about the treatment of musculoskeletal injuries.
He received his medical degree from the University of Miami Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine in Florida. In addition to graduating top of his class, he was selected for the Alpha Omega Alpha National Medical Honor Society. He then went on to complete his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Southern California and the Los Angeles County Medical Center. Upon completion, he entered an additional year of fellowship training in order to specialize in foot and ankle surgery with nationally recognized mentors at the renowned Institute for Foot & Ankle Reconstruction at Mercy Medical Center in Baltimore.
In his years of training, he collaborated with medical professionals on numerous research projects and published peer review research in Foot & Ankle International. His research earned award-winning recognition within his residency department and he has presented his research on several occasions. He is a proud member of the American Orthopedic Foot & Ankle Society and the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons.
