Dr. Paul M. Simic specializes in hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder surgery. In addition, he specializes in microsurgical reconstruction and arthroscopic surgery of the hand and upper extremities. He earned his undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. He then went on to complete post baccalaureate work at Stanford University. Upon completion, he attended Cornell University Medical College. He completed his residency training in orthopedic surgery at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York and completed a one year fellowship at Washington University in St. Louis Missouri.
After being involved in both clinical and basic science research, Dr. Paul Simic wrote articles on wrist and elbow fractures. In addition, he wrote a textbook chapter on surgical treatment techniques for wrist fractures. He is board-certified by the American Board of for Orthopedic Surgery and is a proud member of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand and the American Academy for Orthopedic Surgeons.
