Ardalan Alen Nourian, MD
Orthopedic surgeon specializing in spine surgery
Dr. Ardalan Alen Nourian received his bachelor’s degree in pre-med, education and economics from the University of California, Los Angeles. He graduated with honors in the top 1% of his class. After graduating, he attended medical school at the University of Southern California, Keck School of Medicine. Upon graduating with honors, he was awarded Alpha Omega Alpha. This award is a top honor society medical school award received by only 10% of graduates.
After graduating medical school, Dr. Nourian completed his orthopedic surgery internship and residency at the Downstate Medical Center in New York City. During his residency, he was the chief resident of the orthopedic department. Once he completed his residency, he returned to Southern California in order to pursue a one-year fellowship in spine surgery at the San Diego Center for Spinal Disorders. Here he specialized in management of spinal disorders in both children and adults.
As an expert in his field, he has lectured nationally and internationally on his research on spinal disorders and treatments for anterior and lateral spinal fusion. In addition, he is a published author in several journals and books.
